To promote your Network Marketing opportunity without losing friends, family and your self-esteem can be challenging. Many MLM or Network Marketing companies tell you to start promoting your business by making a list of people you may know from family members, close friends to co-workers. This is called pitching or positioning your business. There are people that have built great organizations using these traditional methods but if you never did any MLM or network marketing you are just walking on to a path with many challenges and trials using these methods.

Consider what would eventually happen if each time you saw your friends and family members you tried to convince them of your business opportunity, most likely they’d want to spend less and less time around you. Many marketers soon run out of people they know and if they don’t know how to promote and generate leads many resort to buying leads, using the 3 foot rule or going on the internet to find and generate leads. Unless you are a skilled sales person and are great at talking to people you will have a very hard time actually getting anyone to join your business. Many times these people are not the best to talk to as you will get lots of negative feedback and many times this may cause you to loose your momentum and this can prove disastrous when a strong self-esteem is a must when you promote your business.

The Internet is a great way to start promoting your business, that is if you do it correctly. You can market your MLM or Network Marketing opportunity on the Internet if you have a large budget or a zero dollar budget, you would just use different strategies. If your marketing budget is large you can use PPC (Pay Per Click advertising), Ezine solo ads, list builders. You can even outsource all this if you don’t have the time to learn or don’t want to do this by yourself.
